Stephanie originally started doing yoga to assist with soccer, prevent injuries, and help her balance. During the start of practice she was diagnosed with cancer. During her treatments yoga was something that she was able to continue doing. It especially helped with the connection of body and mind, and aided in her recovery as well.
She loves yoga because it heals both physically and mentally. It has helped her gain physical strength, confidence and break through many barriers.
"I love how Yoga has given me a sense of control and self-healing. Yoga helped me get back to myself after cancer, and I would love to provide a place where people can feel supported in their journey."
Stephanie is a 200hr YTT hot yoga instructor, and has also been an RN for 18 years. She has found that yoga and eastern type medicine is supportive and preventive, and is great compliment to western medicine!
